Synopsis

Actress Xia Yi Mo unexpectedly lands a role in the historical drama "The Scent of Ink" - the very one she was originally cast in. Hoping to play the lead, she instead finds herself portraying a maid, a guard, and a stepmother. She has only five chances to play this role, and to return to reality, she must save Xue Ruo Wan - the main character played by her former best friend.
